Wickhamford Memorial Hall

(Registered Charity No. 203857)

The Memorial Hall is a registered charity and is run and maintained by a small committee on a voluntary basis.

The Memorial Hall was originally built as a reading room in 1907 but was enlarged and modernised after both wars in memory of all the men and women from the village who gave their lives for their country. A plaque to this effect can be seen in the entrance of the Memorial Hall.

The Memorial Hall is now the hub of the village with a variety of groups and clubs using the facility on a regular basis along with social events and other activities dotting the calendar.

A list of regular users can be found on the Clubs & Groups page. Also dates already booked can be found on the Hall Calendar page. Just click on the highlighted link(s).

Charges for the Memorial Hall are very competetive and are inclusive of Tables, Chairs, Crockery, Cutlery etc. there are no "hidden extras" to pay for.

The only thing we ask is that the Hall is left in a "clean & tidy" condition ready for the next user.

For enquiries regarding an existing booking, or to enquire regarding a new booking, please contact our Bookings Secretary & Caretaker Mrs. Lillian Smith on 01386 830676
